A time to be born,生有时
and a time to die;死有时。

A time to plant,栽种有时，

and a time to pluck up that what is planted;拔出所栽种的，也有时。

A time to kill,杀戮有时
and a time to heal;医治有时。

A time to break down,拆毁有时
and a time to build up;建造有时。

A time to weep,哭有时
and a time to laugh;笑有时。

A time to mourn,哀恸有时，
and a time to dance;跳舞有时。

A time to throw away stones,抛掷石头有时，

and a time to gather stones together;堆聚石头有时。

A time to embrace,怀抱有时，

and a time to refrain from embracing;不怀抱有时。

A time to seek,寻找有时，
and a time to lose;失落有时。

A time to keep,保守有时，
and a time to cast away;舍弃有时。
A time to tear,撕裂有时，
and a time to sew;缝补有时。

A time to keep silence,静默有时，
and a time to speak;言语有时。

A time to love,喜爱有时，
and a time to hate;恨恶有时。

A time for war;争战有时，
and a time for peace.和平有时。
