Effects of different light intensities and phosphate levels on photoinhibition of photosynthesis in satsuma mandarin(Citrus unshiu Marc.) leaves were studied in the culture solution.

Larix kaempferi Carr. seedlings were more photophilic and had strong photosynthetic capacity, which were not prone to photoinhibition,while Larix gmelinii Rupr. seedlings were more shade-tolerant.
