1.Generally resistant to animal and vegetable fats, oils, greases, ozone, heat, and strong oxidizing chemicals. Chlorobutyl has lowest permeability of all the synthetic rubbers.

2.e) Prior to pickling, all heavy deposits of oils, greases, soils or foreign matter other than millscale, rust or rustscale shall be removed by precleaning as cited in 5.1.
